We'll get the SporcleCon Party started with our very own live-hosted game of "Sporcle Party!" Fans of the Sporcle Party app will love this live version, which brings all the fun of the game and takes it to another level with your favorite Twitch Party host—Party Pete! Make sure to have the app downloaded to play.

You'll hear 20 different music clips. The first clip will be 20 seconds long, and you'll earn one point for the artist and one point for the song title. The next clip will be 19 seconds long, and the artist and title are worth two points each. We'll go all the way to song 20, which is one second long, with the artist and title worth 20 points each. Every question will also have a bonus point opportunity based on a trivia question.

Round 1: The Qualifier

• Players will hear a 15-20 second clip of a song.
• Your goal: Identify the artist as quickly as possible.
• Scoring is based on both accuracy and speed:
  • The fastest 25% of correct answers earn 5 points.
  • The next 25% earn 3 points.
  • Anyone else who gets it correct earns 1 point.
• After multiple rounds, the top 20 players advance to the final stage.

Round 2: The Showdown

• The top 20 qualifiers take the stage in reverse order of their scores (20th place goes first, 1st place goes last).
• Each player will hear a 15-second song clip and must correctly name the artist to stay in the game.
• Get it wrong, and you're eliminated.
• With each round, the song clip shortens by 1 second until only one player remains.
